Role in the business
Wayne is the founder and Branch Principal of the Raymond James Ribble Valley Branch, which he established in 2010 at the age of 27. Over the years, he has been successful in growing the business and team into a 22-strong group of in-house specialists, dedicated to delivering expert financial advice.
While playing a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the business, Wayne remains actively involved with clients, ensuring a personal and hands-on approach. He is also a core member of the investment committee, helping drive the firm’s investment strategies.
Experience & Qualifications
Wayne brings over 19 years of experience in running wealth management practices. He holds the Level 6 Private Client Investment Advice and Management Qualification, is a Chartered Wealth Manager, and a Certified Financial Planner, demonstrating his depth of expertise in financial strategy and investment planning.
In addition to his financial credentials, Wayne also holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science, reflecting his analytical approach to problem-solving.
His career began in 2006 at Edward Jones Investments Ltd, where he developed a strong foundation in wealth management while working with private clients. In 2010, he founded the Raymond James Ribble Valley Branch, building a successful practice dedicated to helping clients maximise their financial opportunities.

With extensive experience working alongside successful Business Owners and Company Directors, Wayne’s focus is on saving them time, allowing them to concentrate on what they do best – running and growing their business.
He ensures they are maximising tax efficiency, making sure both personal and business finances are working effectively, and ultimately, that they are on track to achieve their financial goals and life ambitions.

I’ve also always been fascinated by the stock market. I bought my first stocks at just 13 years old, and that early passion has shaped my career ever since.”

Passionate about the outdoors, Wayne finds joy in exploring nature, camping under the stars, and making the most of life on the road in his campervan. Whether it’s a weekend adventure or a spontaneous getaway, he cherishes the time spent with his two daughters, creating lasting memories in the great outdoors.
Fitness is also a big part of Wayne’s life, thriving on staying active in all its forms. Whether it’s hiking, running, biking, the gym or martial arts he loves the balance of adventure and well-being.
Wayne believes that that life is about experiences, and making every moment count, especially when it involves fresh air, open spaces, and the people who matter most.

Areas of expertise include research and analysis ranging from the macroeconomic to the individual investment level. This research then feeds through into providing our clients with the high quality investment management designed to help them meet their objectives.
Life Outside of Work:
Paul enjoys anything outdoors and likes to explore new places whenever he gets the chance.

Connor is the Head of Financial Planning at the Raymond James Ribble Valley branch. With extensive knowledge and experience, he provides holistic financial planning advice tailored to clients with complex financial and estate planning needs.
Background & Experience
Connor is a Chartered Financial Planner through the Chartered Insurance Institute, which combined with his years of experience and degree in Mathematics, enables him to deliver high-quality, comprehensive financial advice.
Areas of Expertise
Connor’s primary area of expertise is working with high-net-worth individuals. He specialises in developing bespoke solutions for complex financial planning scenarios, including strategic inheritance tax planning. He also plays a key role in supporting other advisers within the firm, helping to maintain the high standard of financial planning advice delivered across the business.

Outside of work, Connor enjoys countryside walks with his wife, Beth, and their dog, Nahla.

Tracey Board, DipFA

Overview
Tracey is a Wealth Manager, Financial Planner and co-founder of Raymond James, Ribble Valley. She has been an adviser in finance in varying roles for over 20 years and has built close relationships with her clients. Her job is to save clients time and take the stress of financial matters away. She provides a truly bespoke financial plan and investment strategy, to help her clients meet their financial goals.
Background / Experience
Tracey was awarded a BA honours degree in English in 2001. As a graduate she was taken on at Barclays in 2003 where she worked as a personal banker for 4 years and then was promoted to the wealth management team.
She left Barclays in 2008 and gained her stockbroking and investment management qualification via CISI and her diploma in Financial Planning via the CII. She has worked as a Wealth Manager since 2008 and has a great deal of experience in formatting financial plans and cash flow modelling.
Tracey primarily works with business owners, professionals, and the agricultural community. Her role is to help them simplify their finances, utilise their tax allowances and plan for retirement. She also has many years experience advising on how to utilise their wealth in retirement and succession planning.
Areas of Expertise at Raymond James
Having helped grow the business since inception, Tracey has had the experience of earning a client bank by making their decisions make sense, by putting in place, accessible, achievable and bespoke financial plans for people and families. Working with them over the long term and evolving with them and their goals.
She can say first hand there is no better feeling than to be able to tell a client that they have reached their lifelong financial goals, they can retire, they can spend and that they don’t need to worry.
Being a financial adviser, Tracey feels that you become so much more than the person who ‘invests their money,’ you become the person they rely on to make their future possible, She is also often more than just their adviser and has become a friend and often counsellor to her clients.

Tracey is a social organiser, chef, taxi driver and washing fairy to her two children, Jacques and Scarlett. She is also dog walker and playmate to her teacup Yorkie Eleven (Elle.)”
Tracey loves fitness and hitting the gym. She also loves to travel both as an adult and with her children. They have been fortunate enough to visit many places on our bucket list. She plans to hit them all.

Matthew is a Wealth Manager and Financial Planner. His role is to find out where you are today, where you want to be in the future, and help map out a plan to get you there.
Background/Experience:
Matthew is qualified with the CISI’s Financial Planning and Investment Advice Diploma and became authorised in May 2018.

Andrew is a Wealth Manager at our branch and looks to build a strong, lasting relationships with his clients.
Experience & Qualifications
Andrew is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI). He holds a Level 4 qualification in Investment Advice and soon after added Financial Planning and Advice to his diploma. This broad foundation enables Andrew to identify opportunities across a wide range of client needs, while also drawing on the collective knowledge of a multidisciplinary office. With over eight years of direct client experience, he has seen firsthand how personal circumstances can evolve and impact financial plans over time.
Area of Speciality
Andrew specialises in cashflow modelling and takes pride in his ability to help clients gain a clear, comprehensive view of their financial future. With a deep understanding of each client’s unique goals and objectives, he crafts tailored strategies that align with their personal aspirations and long-term plans. Andrew’s approach is both analytical and empathetic. He ensures that every recommendation is grounded in data, while remaining focused on what truly matters to his clients.
Having experienced a life-altering event as a teenager, Andrew understands the importance of being prepared for the unexpected. This pivotal moment in his life has shaped his commitment to helping clients navigate change with confidence and resilience. He is passionate about supporting people through all of life’s transitions, ensuring they feel secure and well-prepared for whatever comes their way.

Outside of his professional life, Andrew is a devoted father to two energetic boys who keep him constantly on the move. A keen sports enthusiast, he enjoys playing golf during the summer months and squash in the winter. Andrew also has a creative side, brewing traditional real ale at home, sharing the fruits with family, friends, and clients alike.

Fraser Pemberton, Chartered MCSI

Overview:
Fraser advises clients manages client relationships. He also oversees the adviser support team. He specialises in working with successful business owners on both a business and personal level, helping them to reduce the burden of running a business, whilst working towards their personal goals.
Background / Experience:
Fraser is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments and holds the Investment Advice Diploma in financial planning and securities.

Life outside of work:
Fraser is a keen skier and a qualified ski instructor. He is now also a marathon runner having completed the London Marathon in 3:19 in 2025.

Sarah ensures the smooth day-to-day running of our office operations and ensures high standards of client service.
She is responsible for making sure everything runs efficiently, in line with compliance requirements supporting our advisers, staff, and clients alike.
With over a decade of experience in financial services, she’s developed a strong foundation in operational management and regulatory processes. She takes pride in streamlining workflows, supporting team performance, and ensuring clear, compliant communication across all client touchpoints.
Sarah focuses on compliance and office operations helping to maintain a professional, consistent service for our clients. She also acts as the key point of coordination across teams, making sure we stay aligned and responsive to everything we do.
Sarah is married with two daughters. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors, whether that’s walking, exploring nature, or simply enjoying fresh air and downtime together.

Sophie Hayhurst
Business support manager & PA to branch prinicipal
Overview
Sophie is the company secretary for Raymond James, Ribble Valley, she works alongside Wayne as his personal assistant helping him to run the business behind the scenes. Sophie is acting ‘Head of Wow’ for branch.
Background / Experience
Sophie has worked at the Raymond James, Ribble Valley Branch since 2012, previously working in accounts and gaining her AAT qualification. She has worked in finance for the past 15 years. Sophie also gained her Mental Health First Aider certificate in 2019, which helps Sophie support the wellbeing of the team.
Areas of Expertise at Raymond James (how you contribute to helping clients)
Sophie is responsible for some of the operational aspects of the business including the booking keeping, payroll and HR. As ‘Head of Wow’, she helps the branch to exceed client and colleague expectations.
She always prides herself on delivering exceptional service and support. Making people happy and ensuring the overall well-being of the team is one of her most enjoyed tasks.

Sophie loves to spend any of her spare time with her friends or family exploring the outdoors.

Laura Taylor

Overview:
Laura joined Raymond James, Ribble Valley in 2016 as office manager and has progressed to client services manager.
Background/Experience:
Laura has over 17 years’ experience in business administration and is committed to enhancing her learning on a daily basis.
Areas of Expertise:
I am responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the office and specialise in ensuring the account opening process runs smoothly and accurately. She has an extremely good eye for detail and is a strong believer that quality is paramount
Life Outside of Work:
Laura enjoys a busy family life with her husband and two children. She also likes the gym, socialising and getting out in the sun.

Samantha Sayle
Client Services Manager
Samantha is our Client Services Manager, she is responsible for day to day account administration, office operations and for ensuring our account opening process runs accurately.
With over 19 years’ experience working in office environments, she oversees the smooth functioning of client accounts and ensures a high standard of service, acting as a key point of contact between clients and internal teams. With her operational knowledge, she has a strong focus on client satisfaction, process efficiency and high levels of accuracy.
Outside of work, Samantha is a busy mum to three children. She enjoys staying active, spending time with her family and taking regular trips to Anglesey.

Clementine Bell, ACSI
Wealth Manager
Overview:
Clementine advises clients in all aspects of financial planning, whether they are new to investing or further along in their investment journey.
Background/Experience:
Clementine has a degree in economics and holds the Investment Advice Diploma from the CISI. She has over 7 years industry experience.
Areas of Expertise:
Clementine specialises in helping individuals and couples who are still working build a retirement plan, helping them achieve their desired and well-deserved retirement lifestyle. The earlier the planning process begins, the more likely the retirement goals are achieved.
Life Outside of Work:
Clementine and her husband like spending time outdoors and in the lake district with their two children, Rupert and Eloise.

Will Heane, ACSI
Wealth Manager and Financial Planner
Will is a Wealth Manager and Financial Planner. His role is to work with clients on a day to day basis to help them put plans in place so that they can achieve their goals in the future.
Will has worked in the industry since 2018, initially working on the investment team a before completing CISI’s Investment Advice Diploma in 2019 and becoming an adviser in 2020.
Will specialises in using cashflow planning tools to help map out clients’ finances, showing them where they are at currently and what is required to meet their objectives in the future.
Outside of work Will enjoys being active, playing football for Chipping FC, cycling through the summer and skiing in the winter. He is also a big fan of live music and enjoys going to gigs. In 2024 he became a father for the first time and as a family they enjoy doing lots of local walks and occasional trips to the lakes.

Alex Morrisey

Overview – Alex joined the team in 2024 having achieved a First-Class Honours degree, studying Finance and Investment Management at Northumbria University. Alex has a keen interest in Finance and has always aspired to work in the financial advisory industry.
Experience & Qualifications – Alex is now a crucial member of the Financial Planning Support staff, assisting the advisers by managing administrative tasks, ensuring compliance, and supporting client interactions. Alongside his work, Alex is also studying towards the completion of the CII Diploma in Financial Planning qualification, with the goal of becoming a qualified financial adviser.
Areas of Expertise at Raymond James – Alex’s main expertise includes gathering and analysing information from pension providers, compiling detailed client reports for advisers and ensuring that all financial planning activity adheres to industry regulations. Alex also assists financial advisers during client meetings by preparing documentation and building client relationships.
Life outside of work – Outside of work, Alex enjoys staying active by going to the gym and playing football. Spending time with friends, family, and his girlfriend is a big part of Alex’s life, whether it’s relaxing, going out or going to the pub for a pint!

James has 9 years of experience in the industry having joined the Ribble Valley branch after finishing college in 2016. He is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and holds the level 7 Chartered Wealth Manager qualification.

James specialises in Investment Management. He spends his time looking for new potential investments, assessing macro-economic data and undertaking the day-to-day management of portfolios with the aim of generating the best possible returns for clients.
Life outside of work
James is a big sports fan and enjoys playing and watching a variety of sports, particularly golf. In the summer months you’ll often find him playing at Longridge Golf Club or out walking in the Ribble Valley with his girlfriend Emma and their dog Sammy.

Grace works within our team as a trainee paraplanner. She supports advisers through review preparation and research. She is also preparing to take the financial planner exams.
Background –
Grace’s favourite and most successful subject throughout her education was mathematics. This naturally led her to be keen on pursuing a career in finance.
Life outside of work –
Outside of work, Grace enjoys taking her dog for walks with her family and watching her boyfriend’s rugby games. She is also an ocean enthusiast having spent two months volunteering on coral reef research in Thailand.

Areas of Expertise at Raymond James (how you contribute to helping clients) John contributes to the investment team by identifying new investment opportunities through in-depth sector and macro research. Additionally, he regularly reviews and analyses client’s portfolios to make sure they are receiving a valuable service.
Life outside of work (a couple of sentences on life outside work) Life outside of work usually involves quality time with my family, friends, and girlfriend. I enjoy golf, karting, fishing, and the occasional trip to Silverdale with my family for walks in the woods, on the coast, and to the pub!

Leila is our Office Manager; responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
With over 15 years of working in office environments, in addition to office logistics she is the first point of contact for clients, providing a friendly and professional greeting while ensuring they receive the support and guidance they need.
Her efficiency and attention to detail help maintain a seamless workflow, allowing our team to focus on delivering excellent service.
Outside of work, Leila leads a busy life with her three children, two dogs, and two horses. She enjoys walking the dogs with her husband and spending time at the stables with her children.

Overview: Ruby is our Office Administrator, she is responsible for supporting teams with administrative tasks and assisting with office operations, including scheduling, filing and document preparation.

She left Barclays in 2008 and gained her stockbroking and investment management qualification via CISI and her diploma in Financial Planning via the CII. She has worked as a Wealth Manager since 2008 and has a great deal of experience in formatting financial plans and cash flow modelling.
Tracey primarily works with business owners, professionals, and the agricultural community. Her role is to help them simplify their finances, utilise their tax allowances and plan for retirement. She also has many years experience advising on how to utilise their wealth in retirement and succession planning.

Wayne is the founder and Branch Principal of the Raymond James Ribble Valley Branch, which he established in 2010 at the age of 27. Over the years, he has been successful in growing the business and team into a 22-strong group of in-house specialists, dedicated to delivering expert financial advice.
While playing a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the business, Wayne remains actively involved with clients, ensuring a personal and hands-on approach. He is also a core member of the investment committee, helping drive the firm’s investment strategies.
Experience & Qualifications
Wayne brings over 19 years of experience in running wealth management practices. He holds the Level 6 Private Client Investment Advice and Management Qualification, is a Chartered Wealth Manager, and a Certified Financial Planner, demonstrating his depth of expertise in financial strategy and investment planning.
In addition to his financial credentials, Wayne also holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science, reflecting his analytical approach to problem-solving.
His career began in 2006 at Edward Jones Investments Ltd, where he developed a strong foundation in wealth management while working with private clients. In 2010, he founded the Raymond James Ribble Valley Branch, building a successful practice dedicated to helping clients maximise their financial opportunities.

Overview – Alex joined the team in 2024 having achieved a First-Class Honours degree, studying Finance and Investment Management at Northumbria University. Alex has a keen interest in Finance and has always aspired to work in the financial advisory industry.
Experience & Qualifications – Alex is now a crucial member of the Financial Planning Support staff, assisting the advisers by managing administrative tasks, ensuring compliance, and supporting client interactions. Alongside his work, Alex is also studying towards the completion of the CII Diploma in Financial Planning qualification, with the goal of becoming a qualified financial adviser.
Areas of Expertise at Raymond James – Alex’s main expertise includes gathering and analysing information from pension providers, compiling detailed client reports for advisers and ensuring that all financial planning activity adheres to industry regulations. Sophie also gained her Mental Health First Aider certificate in 2019, which helps Sophie support the wellbeing of the team.
